Hope you Bold owners out there managed to snag AT&T’s BlackBerry Bold visual voicemail software update while it lasted, because an internal memo leaked to BGR says it’s been pulled due to compatibility problems with “network enhancements being deployed.” That sounds to us like there’s an issue with either those 850MHz 3G rollouts or whatever black magic Ma Bell’s doing to get iPhone MMS up and running, but either way, it’s one more fire for AT&T’s engineers to put out while its customers sit around waiting.

Update: AT&T just sent us their official word on the matter — and they also told us it has nothing to do with MMS or 850. Check it out after the break.

We’ll be honest, it takes a whole lot to get us excited about iPhone / iPod docks or digital picture frames these days, but congratulations Sony, you’ve managed to pierce through our hardened hearts with the ICF-CL75iP Dream Machine. Sony Insider brings word of the actually quite handsome bedside attraction, an assimilation of those aforementioned products with an alarm clock to boot. We’re looking at a 7-inch WVGA LCD screen, 1GB built-in memory, FM / AM radio, and a retractable dock — in case you don’t feel like capitalizing on the total synergistic package. Photos can be pulled directly from the Apple handheld or loaded via USB, and your wake-up options include built-in presets, a customizable 10-second voice recording, or the iPod / iPhone itself. Our only knock at this point is the minimal codec support — MP3 and WMA for audio, and MP4, M-JPEG, and AVI for video — but if the $149.95 price on a cached SonyStyle listing stays accurate, we can be a little forgiving. In fact, throw in Chumby widget support and we’ll be downright smitten — make it happen, Sony.

Update: Turns out it’s actually up for pre-order right now through Sony Style Canada, CAN $199.99 (that’s US $180) and shipping out October 1st.

We’re sure to see a whole lot more of the Nokia N900 as Nokia World gets underway this week, but in the meantime we’re super into this video walkthrough posted up by Kiamanokia.it — and not just because the Italian narration makes using the N900 seem absolutely delightful. Nope, we’re much more into the extremely-responsive interface, the rotary-zoom gesture in the browser, and the overall slickness of Maemo 5. We’ll withhold judgment until we spend some time with an actual production N900, but things are looking promising — head after the break to check the video for yourselves.

If two slides leaked to the Eeeuser.com forum are to be believed, ASUS has some pretty interesting — though not terrifically surprising — netbooks on the horizon. The slides, which are apparently the company’s roadmap for US products for the next two quarters, are chock full of refreshed product information. It looks like we’re going to be seeing a brand new Eee PC, the 12-inch 1201N, which will bring NVIDIA’s Ion platform to the line for the first time, with an Atom N270 CPU, 2GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi, running $499 for release in mid-October. Other than that, we can expect to see the 1005HA-P with the N280 processor and a 250GB HDD option running Windows 7 also arriving in October for $399, and the 1005HA-M with the N270 processor, a 250GB hard drive, and Windows 7 Starter Edition for $349. Finally, Netbook News is also reporting some new 1008HA models not listed on the slides, as well as a multitouch, Windows 7-running T91 convertible tablet with a 32GB SSD priced at $549. There’s no timeline mentioned for this one, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground expectantly. The other slide is after the break; hit the read link if you want the full details on each model.

We’ve heard about a good number of these phones were bound for Verizon Wireless already, but if this leaked doc via Boy Genius Report is to be believed, we now have a much better idea when they should be within reach of consumer hands. First up is Samsung Rogue for sometime this month (we previously heard today, but that’s looking very doubtful at this point) for an estimated $370 subsidized. Next on the calendar is the “female centric” Nokia Twist 7705 in late September for $230, which more likely than not is the swiveling device we’ve seen on two prior occasions. Also due out next month is the Samsung Intensity for $130 (screenshot after the break). LG Chocolate Touch was rumored by Best Buy for today, but here it’s listed for an October debut, along with Storm 2, a “low cost QWERTY” HTC Razzle / Blitz 2 (XV6175, perhaps?), and the Motorola Sholes “Google Phone,” red D-pad likely in tow, all with TBD price tags. Rounding out the list in late November is the BlackBerry Curve 2, which we wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be the 8530. The first one expected for public is the Rogue, replacing the Alias 2 that just launched back in May. What gives Verizon, no love for e-ink textpads?
