My, how far we’ve come. Believe it or not, Mophie’s Juice Pack pack is in its seventh generation of product development, with the latest ‘Air‘ supporting Apple’s polarizing iPhone 4. For those unaware, these cases nearly double the battery life of the phone they’re wrapped around, and better still, it acts as protection against drops and dropped calls. Fancy that! This little guy is said to provide up to six extra hours of 3G talk time, 36 hours of bonus audio playback or nine hours of video playback. It’s shipping now, just like we said, to those willing to part ways with $79.95, and it’s available in any color you want, so long as it’s black.

Ah, ha! If you’ll recall, we happened upon a Lenovo-branded netbook of sorts back in June, but curiously enough, Freescale and Pegatron components were powering the thing. Now, it seems that yet another flavor has emerged as the Efika MX Smartbook. Frankly, we aren’t too sure this thing fits into the ‘smartbook’ category (given the comparatively spacious 10-inch display), but we are sure that the $349 price point is borderline absurd considering the wealth of decent netbook options at or below that very MSRP. At any rate, those still interested should know that there’s an 800MHz i.MX515 processor under the hood along with 16GB of NAND Flash, an MMC / SD card slot, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, a 1,024 x 600 resolution panel and enough oomph to power through HD video, supposedly. Tap that source link if you’re looking to take a risk, but we’d probably recommend against it.

W2? We don’t need no stinkin’ W2. Fujifilm skipped right over that for W3 when deciding what to call its second-gen Real 3D camera. The W1 model didn’t exactly fare well in the hands of reviewers, but hopefully the rather more sleek looking W3 can do the deed, offering a larger, 3.5-inch glasses-free 3D LCD display along with HDMI 1.4 output and dual 10 megapixel sensors. Yes, the same number of pixels as before, but this version can make better use of them, stepping up to 720p video recording from the former’s VGA. You’ll get all that for the same price as the old one: $499.

This year’s iteration of VIZIO’s top of the line XVT LCDs (at least until the XVT3D — née XVT Pro — series hits in Q4) are finally ready to ship and, as we’ve come to expect, pack a long list of features to go along with their price tags. The 240Hz 42-, 47-, and 55-inch versions all feature LED backlighting, which may be ready to beat criticisms of light black levels with a claimed 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Whether or not you believe any TV manufacturer’s contrast measurements, an increased 120 zones of backlighting (up from 80 last year, up to 160 from 120 on the 47-inch) and a profile that’s 2 inches slimmer (down to just 3 inches deep) this time around should be easily noticeable. The 37- and 32-inch XVT models rely on the company’s edge lit Razor LED lighting tech and are less than 2 inches this, with stated 1,000,000:1 contrast ratios.

Other than arbitrary and easily fudged specs, VIZIO’s fighting the competition with its VIA suite of features — widget based app platform with Netflix, Pandora & others, built-in WiFi and QWERTY Bluetooth remote — and they’re all here, along with plenty of HDMI inputs and SRS audio technology. The 32-inch isn’t the cheapest model that size you’ll find at $699 and neither is the top of the line XVT553SV with its $2,199 MSRP, but after perusing the list of specs in the press release after the break, it’s hard to imagine finding many with a similar resumé at those prices.

Terrific news, laptop shoppers. Toshiba’s concept-turned-commercial Libretto W100 is now on sale in the US of A, but there’s no telling how long it’ll remain in stock. We heard from the get-go that this dual-screen wonder would only be a limited run, and just a week after going on sale in Japan, the W105-L251 is getting prepped right now for a shipping label with your address on it. $1,099.99 buys you a Pentium U5400 processor, Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit), integrated Intel HD graphics, a memory card reader, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 62GB solid state drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an inbuilt webcam and an 8-cell battery. Oh, and twin 7-inch WSVGA LCD panels. Toshiba reckons that you’ll get yours in “2 to 3 weeks” if you order direct, though Amazon has a pre-sale of its own going for those who like to press their luck.
